Imlil Day Trip From Marrakesh To Atlas Mountains

Amazing day trip out from Marrakech on an excursion that takes you to 3 different high atlas valleys in the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy your lunch in the top of the village mixed with some hike through high atlas villages and take in stunning mountain landscapes.
Pick up from Marrakech and firstly drive to Magic Desert called as Agafay Desert to see around and enjoy the region ladscape, and then drive to Amizmiz Dam, Kik plateau, Moulay Ibrahim, Asni  and then to imlil valley 1740, located in toubkal national park and in the High Atlas Mountains facing to Mountain Toubkal 4167m, walk around and then drive to Ourika Valley to visit the 7 waterfalls … drive back to Marrakech …

DAY 1

Day Trip To The Three Valleys from Marrakech :

The valley Asni Ouirgane is located in 60 kilometers away from the city of Marrakech. Ouirgane is the peak (the highest point) of the mountains around at an altitude that levels up 2300 meters in some areas, and spreads over many kilometers. The valley is known for its exceptional flora, and its wildlife including gazelle and sheep, and the plateau of Kik in the high Atlas which rises to an altitude of 4000 meters, it has a wonderful view on Toubkal and dominates the dam of Lalla Takerkoust. The dam of lalla Takerkoust is in just 30 kilometers away from Marrakech. It forms a lake of 7 kilometers and represents an Oasis of freshness, a haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Note : This  Day Trip includes a drive via several ancient berber villages where you can get Mint tea or even lunch away from the busy Touristy Areas!!

imlil-trekking.com invites you to experience a different face of Morocco. Just 1,5 hours drive from Marrakech you enter another world, another time. Leaving behind hot and busy streets, crowded souks and hooting cars High Atlas Mountains greet you with breath taking views, green oases, rivers, waterfalls and shadows under age-old nut trees.  Laughing children pass by, muletiers load their donkeys and Berber women already put on fire for mint tea and Berber tajine.  .
