Equipment

  1. Good walking boots and socks / good trainers for valley treks
  2. Personnel First aid Kit
  3. 3 to 4 season sleeping bag ( winter) or light Sleeping bag ( Summer)
  4. Crampons, Ice axes and Gaiters for Winter treks ( Nov to April )
  5. Lightweight waterproof over-trousers / rain-pants
  6. Water bottle or camel back (recommended)
  7. Soft-sided bag (50-80 litres)
  8. Lightweight daypack
  9. Sunglasses
  10. Sunscreen
  11. Torch and batteries
  12. Towel & all personal toiletries

DAY 1

MARRAKESH - TIZI OUDID (2000M) - TIZI OUSSEM (1800M) - AZIB TAMSOULT REFUGE (2250M)

Imlil Trekking organised private 3 Days,  driver pick up you from your hotel in Marrakesh, and driven to the high Atlas Mountains. Drop of will be at Aguersioual and meet-up with the local team that will lead you during this part of your trek. Walk uphill via a dirt road passing via Matat village, and up toward Tizi oudid pass at 2000-meters. From there you will have amazing views over the Azzaden and Imlil valleys. Hike down, passing through the Berber village Id Aissa. After lunch, you will hike to your final destination of the day, Tizi Oussem, a peacefully calm place. It's a very remote area and you will not hear any noise out there. There is an option of visiting a nearby Berber Village. Overnight at a nice Guest House,

DAY 2

AZIB TAMSOULT (2250M) - TIZI N'TZIKERT PASS (2930M) - AREMD VILLAGE (1900M)

Today, you will be walking uphill through forest toward Tizi n'Tzikert Pass from where you will get wonderful views over Azzaden Valley and different colors of mountains. You can view Mount Toubkal as well from there. Afterward, hike down toward Aremd Village where you will spend the night at a nice lodge.

DAY 3

AREMD VILLAGE (1900M) - IMLIL (1740M) - MARRAKECH

After breakfast, walk down to Imlil Village, where you will be picked up and driven back to Marrakech. Thank you for choosing “IMLIL TREKKING” - your trusted travel company in Morocco.

imlil-trekking.com invites you to experience a different face of Morocco. Just 1,5 hours drive from Marrakech you enter another world, another time. Leaving behind hot and busy streets, crowded souks and hooting cars High Atlas Mountains greet you with breath taking views, green oases, rivers, waterfalls and shadows under age-old nut trees.  Laughing children pass by, muletiers load their donkeys and Berber women already put on fire for mint tea and Berber tajine.  .

  • Beautiful scenery and nice guide. We were picked up in Marrakech exactly at the agreed time and were driven to Imlil by a good driver and your car. We were met by the guide and went for a short daytrip of about 4 hours and lunch home at the guide. Good Moroccan food.
