DAY 1
Marrakech – Imlil
Departure by car from Marrakech around 8h in the morning for 1h20 drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges, Asni weekly market every saturday, then to Agersioual (1,600m), set in the upper level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains, Here you will leave the Vehicle and meet your local guide prior to setting out for some 12km excursion. towards the East to the Berber village of AIkkiss (1,700m), Over Tizi n agersioual pass (2200m). Lunch taken inside a Berber Home (or by the river) then carry on walking up the Imnane valley then over Tizi n Tamter pass (2779m) , From here one can view the two valleys, down into the Imlil Valley and back down to the Imnane valley. Another 1h30 trek down from here will take you to the village of Imlil where you will enjoy an evening meal in the charming Riad Armed Guesthouse. 1h20 drive and 6hours walking.
DAY 2
Imlil – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley - Zagora
Leaving Imlil in the morning you will drive to Zagora through the High Atlas Mountains by the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m) via Agdz stop for lunch in Ourzazate / Agdz, Arriving in Zagora you’ll find yourself in a typical oasis, and important stopping point for camel caravans and now a gateway to the desert. Once in Zagora you will get on your camels for a short trek and get to your camp in the Oasis of Nakhla. 8hours Drive.
NB :Staying in a Hotel is optional ( to decide at the time of the reservation)
DAY 3
Zagora – Aït Benhaddou – Marrakech
Return to Marrakesh stopping for lunch at Aït Benhaddou, an early departure from Zagora will give enough time to explore the ancient mud walled Kasbah. Aït Benhaddou is a ‘fortified city’, or ksar, along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Arrive in Marrakesh at late afternoon. 7 hours drive.
- Transfer from Marrakech to the Start of the day trek in the Atlas Mountains.
- 1 Overnight in Riad Armed or similar (Dinner & breakfast)
- 2 days Drive on 4x4 or Mini-bus during Desert tour.
- 1overnight camping in Zagora ( Oasis Nakhla (Dinner & breakfast)
