• 3-Days Trek in Morocco Mountains "3 Days Berber Villages Trek with Hamid Idblaid Great Tour Guide This was an excellent tour and an amazing experience. The Riad was a great stay before the hike with the owner being very welcoming and cooking delicious food. Our guide Hamid was fantastic and welcoming as he expertly took us up to the peak and back. He was patient, calm and made us all feel safe from start to finish. His english was excellent which allowed for many conversations as the journey was undertaken. I would highly reccomend this trip to anyone seeking an adventure outside of the usual tours" _____________________________________ This was a five day trek including 3 nights in Berber villages. The last day, we climbed the Toubkal summit. From mountain cabine to the summit in the snow! Great experience. We (my daughter and I) had our personal guide( Lahcen) and muleteer (Abderahim). The latter was an excellent cook. We enjoyed his delicious prepared food. Our guide was excellent. He walked with an adapted pace... so that we were not exhausted at the end of the day. ___________________________________________ We found IMLIL-TREKKING through google search and organised a four day/three night trek via email. We advised Hamid of what we were after - scenery, villages, valleys, local people, etc and were assured that anything was possible. This is one of the great things about Imlil-trekking, they can tailor the trek to ensure you get what you want and also to ensure the walking is within your abilities. Our trek was a fantastic experience walking through the imlil and Ourika valleys with Ibrahim, hamid and Lahcen as tour guide, muleteer and chef. We were really well looked after by the team and would recommend IMLIL-TREKKING to anyone thinking of walking in the Atlas mountains. The scenery was amazing, the team were great company, and the food was good. All you need is a good pair of walking boots, a sleeping bag, reasonable fitness, and you are right to go. ________________________________ Fantastic trekking experience” There were four us: my wife and me and our two teenage daughters and we had a wonderful day's trekking through the Atlas mountains starting from Imlil. Our guide, Lahcen obviously knew the mountains like the back of his hand probably because he was born in and still lives in one of the Berber villages that we visited. The trek was all very well organised by Axtat Trecks and we enjoyed every moment. The scenery is beautiful and dramatic and we had a delicious lunch prepared especially for us in a Berber family home. Marvellous! _______________________________ A wonderful day out Great nature and cultural experience .I had the privilege to do the moderately challenging 5 day hike with visits to Berber villages with my 11 yo daughter.We both enjoyed it very much and the desert tour(a lot of driving for just 2 days .I should have researched options better ahead.Still fine though.Abdellatiff our driver was very nice).Our excellent guide Hamid on the 5 d mountain trek and our smiling cook Lahcen were very friendly and really tried to ensure we had a great experience.My young daughter's comfort and safety were always considered.Beautiful scenery and the accommodations were quite nice for a mountain hike.Thanks guys __________________________________ Atlas Mt trek and desert express tour We had an excellent 3 day Express tour of the Atlas Mountains and Sahara desert with our tour guide Brahim. He was a perfect guide and looked after us very well! He was very knowledgeable, with excellent English and was good fun too! The driver Abdellatif was also very good and made us feel very safe. The tour was very easy to book and Hamid answered all of our questions quickly in the lead up. _____________________________________ Guided tour to Imlil Waterfalls, Atlas Mountains ( imlil Village) "Guided tour to waterfall (imlil village, Atlas Mountains) My friends and I agreed that highlight of our trip was the hike to the waterfalls led by Hamid. He was very helpful in caring for us as we hiked up and ensured that we were safe while doing so. Lots of great photos to be taken and Hamid shared great information about the local culture.
